This whole situation is just mental. The blokes in my hallway assure me that it is 2010 even though the last thing I remember from home was it being 1973. I have no bloody clue how this happened. To think that I should be 55 and through practically my entire life does not bear dwelling over.

What do you lot think? Is 17 credits too many for a first semester? I am used to taking anywhere from 6 to 10 classes each year but the counsellors assure me that with my transition, I might want to scale down my usual load.

Is anyone from England here by chance? Not that I have a problem with you Yanks but I have never been to the States before and frankly, I would be so appreciative to have a fellow Brit give me some pointers.
